LINDE LUDEÑA SIERRA was founded 1987 when the German artist Almut Linde introduced the method of applying concept art and minimal art to the real world to Spanish artists Manuel Ludeña and Santiago Sierra. The name LINDE LUDEÑA SIERRA is designed to sound like that of a single person. This corresponds to the structure of their work and their unique style of collaboration. The collective′s exhibitions are created out of a single mind set where three individual lines of work deal with issues of the human condition with its social, political, and economical systems.
